FAQ
Are tool inputs uploaded?
Formatting, encoding, hashing, diffs, colors, cron math, and the other tools run in your browser. Clear the tool or leave the page and that text is gone. It is written to the server only if you save a Pro project.
Does the JWT decoder check the signature?
No. It only decodes the header and payload so you can inspect them. A decoded token is not proof that it was issued by anyone. The token is not sent to DevKitNow.
Why are MD5 and SHA-1 missing from the hash tool?
Both have practical collision attacks, so they are a poor choice when a checksum is standing in for integrity. The hash tool offers SHA-256, SHA-384, and SHA-512, and it is not a password hasher.
Do I need an account?
No. Every tool runs without one. An account keeps pinned tools. Pro is priced in US dollars for 30 days and paid with a Bitcoin invoice. It adds an encrypted library of 100 projects, 48 KB each, with collections, the last 8 revisions, and private links that expire after 7 days. If the site asks you to confirm your email, the account dashboard stays closed until that confirmation. The tools stay free without an account.
How do I reach the admin?
Message @veilsphere_admin on Telegram at https://t.me/veilsphere_admin. The contact form is there for the same conversation. Do not send passwords, seeds, or private keys.
How can I support the site?
The donate page accepts Bitcoin only. Pro is a separate Bitcoin invoice for the library. There is no card checkout on the public site.
How are legal requests handled?
Use the legal request page. Ordinary tool text is not kept. A response can include records that were actually submitted, such as a contact message or a Pro project that account saved.
Can I add a tool?
Yes. Add a folder under frontend/src/tools with a logic module, a test, and a component, then register it in the tool registry and add its public description to shared/catalog.ts.
