Diff Checker

Compare two text blocks line by line and mark inserted, deleted, and unchanged lines. It does not call an external diff program and it does not produce a patch file.

Example: Function change

function limit(n) {
  return n > 10 ? 10 : n
}

function limit(n) {
  if (n < 0) return 0
  return n > 10 ? 10 : n
}

A common error

Leaving either side empty is not a comparison. A trailing newline is its own empty line, so two otherwise identical blocks can still show a change there.
